Terms of service, written like a contract written by humans.

What this covers

These terms apply to your use of Jary — the marketing site, the product, the agents, and anything else we put behind a jary.app URL. By creating a workspace or visiting the site, you agree to them.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens inside your workspace. If you suspect unauthorised access, email support@jary.app and we'll lock the workspace within the hour.

You must be 16 or older to use Jary. Workspaces representing a company need an authorised signatory.

Your content

Anything you put into Jary — projects, documents, conversations, decisions — stays yours. We hold a narrow license to store, transmit, and display it solely to make the product work for you.

If we ever want to use anonymised, aggregated patterns from product usage (e.g. "teams that skip the Validate phase ship 40% more rework") in public writing, we'll either anonymise it past recognition or ask you first.

Acceptable use

Don't use Jary to plan or coordinate anything illegal, abusive, or designed to harm people. We will terminate workspaces that do.

Don't try to break the product, exfiltrate other workspaces' data, or rate-limit-bypass the agents. Responsible security disclosures go to security@jary.app and get a public credit if you want one.

Billing

Free is free. Pro is $24 per workspace per month, billed in advance via Stripe. Cancel at any time from settings — no refunds for the current period, but you keep access until it ends.

Failed payments trigger one email and a 14-day grace period before downgrading to Free. We do not lock you out of your data.

Agents and AI output

Jary's agents generate suggestions, drafts, and analyses based on your inputs and connected sources. The output is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing it before acting.

Agents may make factual errors. We surface citations and confidence levels so you can verify claims. Don't ship code or commit to plans without reading the output.

Service availability

We target 99.9% uptime, excluding announced maintenance. Status and incident history at status.jary.app.

If we're down for more than four hours in a billing period, email support@jary.app and we'll prorate the affected days against the next invoice.

Termination

You can delete your workspace from settings at any time. We retain a short audit trail for 90 days, then everything is gone.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice except in the case of clear abuse or legal demand.

Liability

Jary is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the product is capped at the fees you paid in the prior twelve months, or $100, whichever is greater.

Changes

If we change anything material, we email every workspace owner at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The version history is at jary.app/terms/history.

These terms are not a substitute for the master services agreement available to teams on a custom contract. For that, email legal@jary.app.
